Luster Finishing Media

Processing with Luster Finishing Media results in a shiny finish to metallic components. Certain ceramic and plastic media can confer the luster on to the components by smoothening out the surface and also by removal of any wax, grease and oxide adhering to the surface of components. Occasionally, wood media and chips are also used for luster finishing purposes. In most cases the Luster Finish process is normally preceded by a mass finish deburring operation.
